Blocovia LLC ("Blocovia," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Blocovia platform and related services (the "Service") available at blocovia.com.

Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you disagree, please do not use the Service.

IMPORTANT — TWO ROLES: Blocovia operates in two capacities under this policy. We are the controller of data we collect from you (the platform user/subscriber). You — as a Blocovia subscriber — are a separate data controller for the personal data you collect from your own contacts, customers, and subscribers through your funnels, forms, CRM, courses, memberships, and other tools on the platform. Your obligations as a data controller are addressed in Section 10.

1. Information We Collect About You

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you register for an account or use the Service, we collect:

Account information: name, email address, password

Billing information: payment card details (processed by Stripe; Blocovia does not store full card numbers), billing address

Profile information: business name, workspace name, subdomain preference

Communications: support requests, emails, and messages you send to us

Content you create: funnels, pages, course content, email broadcasts, automation workflows

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect:

Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, timestamps

Usage data: features used, clicks, session duration, funnel and page performance metrics

Device information: device type, unique device identifiers

Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6

1.3 Information From Third Parties

If you connect your account via Google OAuth or other third-party authentication, we receive basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) from that provider. We may also receive information from Stripe regarding subscription status and payment events.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Service

Process payments and manage your subscription

Create and manage your account and workspace

Send transactional communications (account confirmations, billing receipts, password resets)

Send service announcements, updates, and security alerts

Send marketing communications about Blocovia products and features (you may opt out at any time)

Respond to your support requests and inquiries

Monitor and analyze usage to improve the Service

Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues

Comply with legal obligations

Enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the Service, including:

Stripe — payment processing

Resend — email delivery

Supabase — database and infrastructure

Mux — video hosting and delivery

Inngest — background job processing

Vercel — hosting and deployment

These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, protect the rights or safety of Blocovia or others, or investigate fraud or security issues.

3.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have.

3.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties when you have given us your explicit consent to do so.

3.5 No Sale of Personal Data

Blocovia does not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your subscription or request deletion of your account:

We will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days of account closure

We may retain certain information for longer periods where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or financial record-keeping

Backups may retain data for up to 30 additional days after deletion

Content you have created (funnels, pages, courses) and Contact Data you have collected from your own customers is deleted together with your account data upon account closure.

5. Your Rights & Choices

5.1 Access & Correction

You may access and update most of your personal information through your account settings at any time.

5.2 Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at privacy@blocovia.com. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

5.3 Marketing Opt-Out

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at privacy@blocovia.com. You will continue to receive transactional and account-related communications.

5.4 California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or sell

The right to delete your personal information

The right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)

The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA rights

5.5 EU/UK Data Subjects (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object to processing. Our legal basis for processing your data is typically contract performance (to provide the Service) and legitimate interests (to improve and secure the Service). 6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service. The types of cookies we use include:

Essential cookies: required for the Service to function (authentication sessions, security)

Analytics cookies: help us understand how users interact with the Service

Preference cookies: remember your settings and preferences

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security assessments.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and applicable regulatory authorities as required by law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us at privacy@blocovia.com.

9. International Data Transfers

Blocovia is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer. We will take appropriate safeguards to ensure your information receives adequate protection.

10. Your Obligations as a Data Controller

When you use Blocovia's tools to collect personal data from your own customers, leads, and contacts (through opt-in forms, CRM, course enrollments, community memberships, etc.), you become an independent data controller for that data. You are solely responsible for:

Obtaining all necessary consents from your contacts before collecting their personal data

Providing your contacts with a privacy notice describing how you will use their data

Complying with all applicable data protection laws in the jurisdictions where you operate

Responding to your contacts' data rights requests (access, deletion, opt-out, etc.)

Ensuring you have a lawful basis for any email marketing you send through Blocovia's platform

Complying with CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, CASL, and any other applicable regulations

Blocovia acts as a data processor on your behalf for this Contact Data. Our obligations as your data processor are governed by our Data Processing Agreement ("DPA"), available upon request at privacy@blocovia.com. Enterprise customers requiring a signed DPA should contact us directly.

11. Third-Party Links & Integrations

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with the Service.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice in the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
